As a result of the participation of companies with Environmental License within the scope of the relevant legislation of the period on 22.03.2007, TUDAM RECYCLABLE PACKAGING MATERIALS COLLECTORS AND SEPARATIONS ASSOCIATION was established. Our association, which was established in accordance with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Control Regulation in Turkey published on 30.07.2004, with the aim of creating a platform to share the knowledge and experience of licensed companies, has been renewed over time as TUDAM ASSOCIATION OF RECYCLABLE WASTE MATERIALS INDUSTRY . With the combination of Licensed Collection Sorting Facilities and Recycling Facilities, we aim to bring a corporate identity to the sector, to control the post-industrial and industrial packaging wastes generated throughout the country in a healthy and sustainable system, and to contribute to our country s environment and economy. Our association continued its activities as a strong non-governmental organization in the sector. While our TÜDAM Recyclable Waste Materials Industrialists Association continues its work on effective waste management as well as the industrialization of the recycling sector in our country, it also fulfills its representation duties in national and international arenas. In addition to these duties, the sub-heading of the environmental heading continues to increase its broad perspective studies on waste-raw materials. Our association accelerates its work by prioritizing the concept of sustainability by highlighting the commercial aspect of waste generation in the recycling sector, effective waste management, access to waste, the concept of circular economy, national-international legislation and various good practices for all stakeholders in addition to the environmental aspect. In this context, in addition to licensed companies; We continue our work by increasing member participation on a large scale with companies that provide services in waste management, recycling, energy recovery from waste, environmental consulting firm, machinery and equipment supply for the waste sector and information technologies in waste management. With its aims and objectives, our association examines the future design, business model, future expectations of our sectors and multi-dimensional questions in this direction from the perspective of the sector and its stakeholders. In line with our vision, we have been continuing our change processes dynamically since 2021. Post-consumer waste management, deposit return system (scheme), supply to the main industry and green transition contents constitute our most important agendas. With new members joining us every day, we continue to be the meeting point of member companies where solutions are researched for the problems encountered in the sector.
