REPLAST EURASIA WAS THE MEETING POINT OF PLASTIC RECYCLING SECTOR FOR THE 2ND TIME
RePlast Eurasia, Türkiye's first and only specialised fair in the plastics recycling sector, brought together all stakeholders of the sector under the same roof for the second time this year. Organised by Tüyap in cooperation with PAGÇEV on 8-10 May 2025, the fair offered an important meeting and cooperation platform for plastic recycling professionals for three days. RePlast Eurasia redirected the sector as the meeting point of plastic recycling professionals.THE FAIR RECORDED GREAT SUCCESS IN ITS 2ND YEAR
At the fair, where the latest trends in plastic recycling raw materials and technologies were showcased, 151 companies and company representatives from 13 countries, especially Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, China and the United Kingdom, exhibited their products and services. RePlast Eurasia, the first and only fair dedicated to the plastics recycling sector in Turkey, which attracted great interest in the national and international arena, brought together 8,340 visitors from 56 countries for three days. 596 of the visitors were industry professionals from abroad. Among the countries with the highest number of visitors; Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, China, Georgia, the Netherlands, Iran, Italy, and Romania. The intense participation from both domestic and foreign countries once again revealed the international power and strategic importance of RePlast Eurasia in the sector.
FAIR HOSTED THE 2ND PAGÇEV PLASTIC RECYCLING AWARDS AND CONFERENCE
The fair, which gave an important impetus to Turkey's green transformation process, also hosted the Plastics Recycling Awards and Conference and became the information sharing platform of the sector. At the Plastic Recycling Awards organised on the first day of the fair, awards were presented in 7 different categories.

The conferences and panels organised after the plastic recycling awards created a platform to encourage knowledge sharing in the field of recycling. International Perspective on Plastic Recycling: Global Developments and New Trends, Recycled Plastic Content and Recycling Process Certification, Recycled Plastic Utilisation: Opportunities, Quality Management and Supply Chain, expert speakers shared the most up-to-date sectoral information.AN ARTISTIC TOUCH TO RECYCLING AT THE FAIR: “PET WORLD WALL”
One of the projects that attracted attention during the fair was the “Pet World Wall”, which was realised under the leadership of upcycling artist Zeliha Sunal. This special work of art, which started at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Centre before the fair and was completed with the contribution of visitors during the fair, was created by reusing the collected plastic bottles. This creative work, which aims to raise recycling awareness, demonstrated how plastic waste can be transformed into valuable structures with an artistic vision. With this meaningful project, RePlast Eurasia contributed to sustainability not only from an industrial but also from a cultural perspective.
