The 2nd Plastics Recycling Technology and Raw Materials Fair, RePlast Eurasia 2025, which is the first and only fair in Turkey on plastic recycling, will bring together sector representatives for the second time with the cooperation of TÜYAP and PAGÇEV Green Transition & Technology Association.  The winners of the awards in 7 different categories will be announced at the RePlast Eurasia Fair to be held between May 8-10, 2025.
 
PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards will be a platform where products made from recycled raw materials will be awarded as well as those producing raw materials and technology from plastic recycling. The awards will provide insight into current developments in the use of recycled materials, product design and production, and inspire the masses.
 
The deadline for the PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards, which will be the most prestigious award in the field of plastic recycling, will be March 7, 2025. PAGÇEV invites brand owners, manufacturers, retailers, product designers, packaging manufacturers and designers, raw material suppliers, plastic recycling technology manufacturers and suppliers of recycled plastic products in the entire value chain to participate in the prestigious awards.

Automotive, Electrical, or Electronic Product

Plastic parts made from recycled materials and used in the design of cars, trucks, motorcycles, as well as electrical and electronic devices such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, etc., are eligible for submission. The application scope is not limited to a specific industry, but the products must be made from recycled plastic materials.

The evaluation of applications will be guided by functionality, sustainability, and innovation. Additionally, the aesthetic qualities of the product will be taken into consideration, along with innovations introduced to relevant industries.

Infrastructure & Construction Materials Category

This category includes plastic products used in both exterior and interior applications in the construction industry. A wide range of products can be submitted, including flooring, pipes, window frames, insulation, roof covering, doors, wall coverings, landscaping products, outdoor furniture, and more.

The durability and recyclability of the products, along with the added value in terms of sustainability for the construction and building sector, will be key elements in the evaluation. Additionally, criteria such as the product's usability, its effective replacement of traditional materials, and the innovations it brings to the industry will also be considered in the assessment.

Home Appliances & Ertainment Category

Products used in daily life, including any plastic items or other products that enhance daily activities, including leisure activities and sports, fall within the scope of this category. Various products can be submitted, such as household items, toys, sports and entertainment materials, fashion accessories, furniture, and any products other than electronics and electrical appliances.

The functionality, usability, and aesthetics of the product, along with its ability to effectively replace traditional materials, will be key evaluation criteria for this category. The recyclability of the products and their added value in terms of sustainability will also be taken into consideration.

Plastic Packaging and Packaging Materials Category

This category covers products used in consumer-oriented plastic packaging. Contributions with innovative designs that enhance the recyclability of packaging are encouraged. The submitted product should be a consumer good and manufactured for commercial packaging use (including food and non-food applications, such as dairy products, beverages, washing liquids, etc.).

An analysis of recyclability is required for the submitted packaging product. Packaging of Class A, B, or C is suitable for the application. The recyclability of the packaging will be a guiding evaluation factor for this category. Additionally, innovations introduced to the packaging industry will be taken into consideration.

Innovation and Technology Category: Product Technology

This category encompasses technological innovations that facilitate the production of recyclable products and/or the use of recycled content to produce plastic products. Any technological development that eliminates or overcomes existing barriers to recyclability, or assists in the innovative use of recycled plastic materials in high-level applications, falls under this category.

Technological innovation will be evaluated based on improvements it brings to the efficiency, effectiveness, innovation, performance, quality, and profitability of the process, as well as the recyclability of the products.

Innovative Recycling Machinery Category

In this category, innovative machine developments that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of plastic recycling processes can be presented. Innovations and improvements in separation, grinding, shredding, washing, filtering, extrusion, and other stages of the recycling process, provided they are directly involved in the plastic recycling process, can be submitted.

Evaluation of the machines will consider their contribution to the overall efficiency, effectiveness, innovation, performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness of the plastic recycling process, as well as their contribution to achieving higher-quality recycling.

Plastic Recycling Ambassador Category

This award will be presented to an inspirational individual who has made outstanding contributions to the plastic recycling sector in Turkey in the last 12 months. This category is open to industry professionals, politicians, officials, NGO activists, citizens, or other individuals who have dedicated themselves to advocating and improving the recycling of plastics. Please nominate individuals whom you believe deserve such an honor.
